Temple Square

We surprised the kids with a door bell ring and this note on our front door Saturday morning:

HO! HO! HO!

On an adventure you will go

Tonight around six, so don't be slow

Freezing cold it will be

Wearing a coat will be key

Bring gloves, scarfs and hats too

A family adventure (smile please) don't be blue

Be happy today so we can play

And make a memory this Saturday.

After a few minutes of confusion, they figured out we would be going to Temple Square. Just before six we bundled up and headed to the real surprise...a train trip to Salt Lake. There was a lot of loud excitement when we pulled into the station. We took Front Runner to Salt Lake and then got on TRAX which landed us at Temple Square. After a beautiful tour of the grounds we had a yummy dinner and hot chocolate and then headed home. Tatum was so well behaved... mesmerized by the train experience.
